At Elite Physiotherapy, our physios all have extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of sporting injuries. Having all come from sporting backgrounds, as well as Michael and Rachael holding post graduate qualifications in Sports Physiotherapy, we understand the demands of managing these injuries.

We offer expert guidance on acute sporting injuries and will liaise with specialists and surgeons in the event surgical intervention is required. From the acute phase of your sporting injury to return to sport, we will conduct ongoing assessments that will assist us in determining your ability to safely participate in your sport and return to competition. This can include range of motion, muscle strength assessments, functional assessments and/or force plate assessments.

At Elite Physiotherapy, however, we believe that the best management of sporting injuries is to prevent them occurring in the first place. This can be achieved through a balanced, well-designed gym program and meticulous load management. All of our physios can design individually tailored, sports specific, programs to suit the requirements of your chosen sport. This will ensure we are able to mitigate the risk of injuries as much as possible and allow you to perform at your best
