At Elite Physiotherapy, we have an on-site boutique gym space. This space boasts state-of-the-art equipment without the overwhelm factor that can often come with large commercial gym spaces.

We utilise our gym for a variety of services, assessments and offer a lifestyle membership package to our clients.

Exercise therapy is at the foundation of what we do at Elite Physiotherapy and we offer:

  • Active Living Gym classes
  • GLA:D program
  • 1:1 gym based rehabilitation 
  • Individualised gym program prescription
  • Tailored rehabilitation programs
  • Gym based strength assessments

World Health Organisation Physical Activity Guidelines:

Adults 18–64 Years:

  • Complete at least 150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity OR
  • At least 75-100minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity throughout the week
  • Should also do muscle strengthening activities 2 or more days a week
  • Should limit the amount of time being spent sedentary throughout the week

Adults 65 Years and Above:

  • Same as for adults and
  • On 3 or more days a week should do varied multicomponent physical activity that emphasises functional balance and strength training to enhance functional capacity and to prevent falls
